"created_at and updated_at" showing up on blog

"created_at and updated_at" showing up on blog. On stage 1 on ActiveRecord. Just began building blog. Why is this happening? Thanks!

Hi David Ames,

created_at and updated_at get added by default in Rails to track times that objects were, you guessed it, created and updated. This allows you to do a lot of great stuff like order the information by creation date, tell if it's been changed since it was initially created, or otherwise display the date on your web application, like in the case of a blog.
