HTML How to Make a Website Adding Pages to a Website Add a New Page

Creating about.html, not working when linking from index.html but working from contact.html

So i created about.html in my workspace as the video suggested and copied and pasted all of my code from index.html to the new file.

I then also class="selected"about in the about.html file.

So when i try my link in my website from index to about, the url creates a full stop at the end of about.html. (like so)

which is not what i have written in the code

so in the url if i delete the full stop at the end, it finds my webpage easily.

So instead i thought why not create the contact.html page aswell and see if that works from linking there to about.html

That works perfectly which makes no sense as its exactly the same code im using from the index.html.

I do not get a fullstop at the end of the url but i still can't link from index page to about but can from contact to about.

Like i said makes no sense as its exactly the same code written and copied and pasted from the index.page

So all in all, from index linking to about it creates a full stop at the end of the url.

but from contact to about , there is no full stop meaning it does what it should do.

Also index to contact works fine.

Anyone else getting the problem? I feel it is a problem with the workspace or google chrome which i use as my web browser

Sorry everyone have now fixed it from searching on google.

Turns on if anyone ever gets this problem, go to settings on google chrome, then show advanced settings and delete clear browsing data.

Seemed to do the trick for me and now my links work.

Let me know if this helps anyone
