CSS 3 Ribbon Animation

I want to make a Renaissance style ribbon in AI and have it animate lil it is waving. Does anyone know how this could be done? I know all about CSS3 Animation properties but can't figure this out. Any help would be awesome thanks everyone!, Note I have not yet made the ribbon I am currently drawing something up.
