While styling the SVG elements in CSS, I noticed that some of the CSS properties that we applied to our SVG are marked in red and the instructor said it's because workspaces doesn't recognized them.
Why doesn't workspaces recognize them?

Treehouse Moderator 145,860 PointsI believe it is because the property is actually an SVG styling (presentation) property that is shared with CSS and not actually a CSS property. The 'opacity' property Nick uses was not even defined in CSS2.
If you want more information on SVG styling properties you can read more here: http://www.w3.org/TR/SVG/styling.html
Hope that clears it up for you. :)

Treehouse TeacherI also had a similar question. But now my question is more along the lines of: "Why doesn't workspaces use CSS3?" :)
Nevermind! I thought I saw opacity in red. And I was half right... it was stroke-opacity. Kindly ignore my comment :)
