currently using total = upcoming_releases + current_count but it is failing?

where am i going wrong in the code?

delete.py 
current_count = 14
planned = 5
upcoming_releases = 2
del planned
new_variable = total
total = upcoming_releases + current_count

Hey Daniel,

The challenge is asking you to create a new variable named "total" (which you did correctly in your last line) but not a variable named "new_variable" with a value of "total". If you remove the new_variable line then it should pass.
