7,802 Pointsdef num_teachers(self = None, **kwargs): return len(kwargs.keys()) this isn't working, does someone know why?
I'm suppose to return an integer of how many keys there are and this seems to work in my regular python window, but not in the treehouse browser.
# The dictionary will look something like:
# {'Andrew Chalkley': ['jQuery Basics', 'Node.js Basics'],
# 'Kenneth Love': ['Python Basics', 'Python Collections']}
#
# Each key will be a Teacher and the value will be a list of courses.
#
# Your code goes below here.
def num_teachers(self = None, **kwargs):
return len(kwargs.keys())

You don't need default parameter self and **kwargs parameters.
For length of dictionary d you can use len(d), you don't need len(d.keys())
def num_teachers(teachers):
return len(teachers)
