Hi Cathrine, I believe the issue is you have no space between function and __construct, it should be as follows:

<?php
class Fish {
public $common_name;
public $flavor;
public $record_weight;

function __construct($name, $flavor, $record){
    $this->common_name = $name;
    $this->flavor = $flavor;
    $this->record_weight = $record;
  }
}
?>

hope this helps!!

Hey Grace thank you so much you really saved the day!!!!
