Deleting multiple items from a list - mixed formats

Hi!

Probably super basic.

I'm trying to delete multiple items from a list using del (x,y,z), but it doesn't seem to be working.

Please help!

lists.py 
the_list = ["a", 2, 3, 1, False, [1, 2, 3]]

# Your code goes below here

the_list.insert(0,(the_list.pop(3)))
print (the_list)

del the_list(1,4,5)

Hey Prabhath,

Check out the remove function of list. remove()

What you can do is make a list of the values you want to delete. the_list =[ 1, 'a' ,4, 'hello'] my_del_list = [1 ,2 ,3]

Make then a for loop around it like so. for del in my_del_list: the_list.remove(del)

this will remove the values out of "the_list"
