Designing fragment in Android Studio

Hi everybody, I'm following the ribbit course, and I don't know how to design a fragment from scratch in android studio.

Could someone explain me the process in order to create a fragment, please?

The basic understandable process of creating a fragment involves adding an XML layout and then add a Class that extends the Fragment Class.Then finally inflate the XML layout in the Class by calling the onCreateView method.
