Destroy button does not delete in the rails app

In the video Generate a Scaffold at around 4:15 he goes to destroy the todo list he just created. Mine is not deleting when I click destroy. It's like pressing view button to view the list I created. It appears other people were having issues w this as well but I didn't see any with solutions in the forums. Is this required to work to continue on in the lessons? Has anyone had a similar issue who got it fixed? I haven't been able to detect what is going wrong or any errors from the server info in the console. Thanks, Joel
