32,885 PointsIt's definitely possible, but it isn't the easiest thing to do considering the amount of limitations we're dealing with. 4,338 PointsI literally just got done doing this. I wish I had seen that blog post before. Would have saved me a ton of head aches. I got Ubuntu installed just fine but I didn't know about the 64 bit library issues. I learned about them the hard way when I started getting a bunch of errors in Android Studio. Option 6 on that blog post is basically what I went with. It's great because it runs Chrome OS and Linux at the same time. you don't need to restart to switch from one OS to the other. Just use a simple key combination.
Also, it's best to do this with an intel base chromebook. ARM chromebooks have some limitations with Linux I believe.
