Python Python Collections (Retired) Dictionaries Teacher Stats

Dictionaries challenge: getting "Oops! It looks like Task 1 is no longer passing." Why is this?

I don't understand this error message. It doesn't tell me why the next portion of code I put in isn't working, or if that's even the case. It just says that the earlier code went from passing to no longer passing. What went wrong?

teachers.py
# The dictionary will be something like:
# {'Jason Seifer': ['Ruby Foundations', 'Ruby on Rails Forms', 'Technology Foundations'],
#  'Kenneth Love': ['Python Basics', 'Python Collections']}
#
# Often, it's a good idea to hold onto a max_count variable.
# Update it when you find a teacher with more classes than
# the current count. Better hold onto the teacher name somewhere
# too!
#
# Your code goes below here.
def most_classes(my_dict):
  winner = ""
  counter = 0
  for key in my_dict:
    for value in my_dict.values():
      if len(value) > counter:
        counter = len(value)
        winner = key
  return winner

def num_teachers(my_dict):
  teacher_count = 0
  for key in my_dict:
    teacher_count += 1
  return teacher_count

Somehow the variable 'key' is being occupied, I changed it to 'key2' and it worked. In a real IDE this wouldn't matter, but the code corrector being used here may get confused.

def num_teachers(my_dict):
  teacher_count = 0
  for key2 in my_dict:
    teacher_count += 1

  return teacher_count

I figured out the problem. The first part of the challenge passing in the first place was a fluke. I had to rewrite most_classes to be a little better and the rest sorted itself out.

Thanks!
