Difference between .creat() and .new()

In this course, the teacher used create and new interchangeably. What's the difference between them. Can they be interchanged?

1 Answer

Create is the equivalent of .new() followed by .save(). That is it builds the new object and stores it in the database in one action. A typical use case for using .new() is for when you have conditionally assigned attributes.
