12,903 Pointselement.style.display !== 'block' checks for the class being anything BUT "display: block;", whereas element.style.display === 'none' checks to see if "display: none;". Note that display has many possible values, it's not just "block" OR "none". Linked below is the resource to see all possible CSS display values.
The video just toggles between "block" and "none" as an example of showing/hiding elements, and "block" is a common css Display value.
