In fact, the more complex a task is, the more ways there will be to program it yet arrive at the same result. The choices between possibilities will often be made based on program efficiency, resource conservation, avoidance of browser inconsistencies, employment of "best practices", and code readability. Yet sometimes it will simply be a matter of the programmer's personal preferences.
