Not sure what I'm doing wrong here, I've tried adding a try/except block around the remove bit inside the If statement but no luck. I keep getting an error that it got back different letters than expected
def disemvowel(word):
word=list(word)
vowels=['a','e', 'i','o','u','A','E','I','O','U']
for letter in word:
if letter in vowels:
word.remove(letter)
return word

does? I see that it convets word into a list, but why does that have to be done?
