div is null, error

nothing is on the screen, console says div is null I typed everything the same as video..

yet if I comment out div.innerHTML = message; with document.write(message); instead it works....hmm what does innerHTML do anyway?

  name: 'Sarah', 
  country : 'US', 
  age : 35, 
  treehouseStudent : true, 
  skills : ['JavaScript', 'HTML', 'CSS']
};


function print(message) {
  var div = document.getElementById('ouput');
  div.innerHTML = message;
  //document.write(message); 
}



var message = '<p>Hello. My name is ' + person.name + '</p>';
message += '<p>I live in the ' + person.country + '</p>'; 
person.name = 'Rainbow Dash';
message += '<p> But, I wish my name was ' + person.name + '</p>'; 




print(message);

Looks like a typo:

var div = document.getElementById('ouput');

I'll bet the id for the div element is output not output.

innerHTML is the content of an element.

"ouput" is definitely the culprit.
