DO i need a USB or a DVD to get Ubuntu going?

I downoladed it etc.. but do i need to have a US and a DVD to install it?

Hello,

You can install a virtual machine instead and run it inside it if you want.

Here's an example of what you can use: https://www.virtualbox.org

Other than that, you can indeed create a live-USB/live-DVD and try the OS on your computer without having to install it either.

In any case, if you eventually want to install it, you'll have to burn a DVD or create that live USB. (unless you install it in a virtual machine as stated above)

xd do i even need this? I'm just doing HTML/CSS and Sass, some JS later probably, maybe a site or two with WP, i set the stuff i need

C:\Users\Aurelian\Desktop\Web Development\Static Websites\000Template>sass --watch scss:css

Sass is watching for changes. Press Ctrl-C to stop. write css/application.css write css/application.css.map

I mean, what else do i need : p
