Do we have to use Workspace? Do we need to turn in anything via Workspace (end project)?

I am using my own dev environment and don't want to get to the end only to realize my project needs to be turned in via Workspace. Thanks in advance.

Nope, you can use whatever editor you feel comfortable with when following along with the videos. We try to provide a downloadable copy of the code alongside the workspaces copy for most courses for just that reason.

Our code challenges use an in-browser editor similar to workspaces however, so you will need to use that to submit answers for the challenges but if you really don't like using it feel free to just copy-paste solutions from your local copy; it won't know the difference :P

Awesome! Thanks Geoff!

Hi Geoff,

Sorry for the slight de-rail. Is there any hope of getting a REPL alongside the in-browser editor, on challenges? I find myself constantly using a split screen with the challenge on one side, and an external REPL on the other.

Best Regards
