Do you have to use "normalize.css" (or something similar) each time you're making a website?

I just want to know if it's something we're doing in this course only so we can understand CSS better or a general practice that is good to get into.

Some sort of normalize file is used for pretty much all sites. Every browser has its own default values for margin, padding, font-size, etc. for different elements and a normalize file allows us to start with a level playing field in all browsers.

I'd imagine if you use a framework like bootstrap or foundation, the normalization is included by default so you wouldn't need an additional normalize.css file.
