Does Android Studio 2.2.2 support AMD graphic cards?

Recently, I came back to android studio because I wanted to make apps. But last time I did it (2 months ago), it didn't support AMD. When I installed AS 2.2.2, it seemed to work perfectly fine. So is this a bug/glitch or do they now support it?

I don't think AMD was ever not supported. Maybe some emulator thing wouldn't work with AMD, but as far as I know you should be able to develop with AMD.
