These are the steps you should take:

  1. take the argument passed into the function and get its length
  2. slice the string into two parts, using its length (as mentioned you can use integer division to find where you should slice the string)
  3. use methods on string class to make the first half all lower case and the second half of the string all uppercase
  4. return the first half lowercased added to the uppercased second half
