dont get it

available = "banana split;hot fudge;cherry;malted;black and white" sundaes = available.split(';') menu = "Our available flavors are:{}.".format("," .join(sundaes))

One thing you need to check for the correct output is the statement where they tell you to join on a space and a comma. You're currently joining on only a comma.

Partial example:

.format(", ".join(sundaes))

this is how I have it menu = "Our available flavors are:{}.".format("," .join(sundaes)) but i dont see why its not right

It's not right because you're missing a space after the comma in your join call.

", ".join() #makes a comma and space separated string
",".join() # comma only separated string
