Don't get this at all! isn't round() supposed to be for numbers only?

on documentation seems that way and when i try and use round() on a string it throws a TypeError

silly.py 
def sillycase(item):
    return item 
# The first half of the string, rounded with round(), should be lowercased.
# The second half should be uppercased.
# E.g. "Treehouse" should come back as "treeHOUSE"

They mean round half the length of the string. Hope that helps.
