don't know what I'm doing wrong

float addTwo ( float a, float b);

float foo =2.4;
float bar =3.5;

printf("addTwo %f\n",addTwo(foo, bar));

float addTwo(float a, float b) { return a + b;

They only want the implementation of the function. They don't want you to call the function or print the result or anything else.

The last part of your code is all that the challenge is asking for.

float addTwo(float a, float b) { return a + b; }
