You're on the right track. You need to fix the following:

  • remove the leading caret ("^"). It's used to signify the beginning of a line. Sine email starts in the middle it breaks the pattern.
  • add the pattern between the two groups:comma and multiple whitespace: ,\s+
  • include the Multiline flag: re.M (remember to use pipe symbol ("|") to OR the flags.
