Treehouse Project ReviewerHello David, The format() method put a word or words inside of a string. ex.:
text = "We have {} courses"
word = 'python'
output = text.format(word)
or
output = text.format('python')
>>> We have python courses
it replace
{}
with what you have inside the format() method The join() method joins a list of elements with whatever you want to. ex.:
list_of_words = ['hello', 'world']
print(' '.join(list_of_words))
>>>hello world
if i put
print(','.join(list_of_words))
>>>hello,world
or
letters = ['h', 'e', 'l', 'l', 'o']
print(''.join(letters))
>>>hello
I hope this helps you to understand. Keep up the good work!
