Drawables in Android Studio

When I try to put a picture for the drawable folder into an ImageView, it says "Can't convert file into a drawable."

Does anyone have any ideas on what I am doing wrong?

Hey Peter,

I've stumbled across this exact error in the past. Are you sure the picture you are putting in the drawable folder doesn't contain any special characters? The only characters that are allowed are letters, numbers, and underscores. Also be sure that your image file has a valid file extension of a picture type (jpg, png, etc.).

Hope that helps!
