Emulator takes too much time to start while in the TreeHouse tutorial the emulator comes very fast once run is clicked.
Any link or suggestion how should I know about handling of Emulator. For example: Closing of the Emulator and opening of emulator.
After small changes build takes 3 mins approx everytime and then Emulator another 2 minutes or so.
System :
Windows 8. 64 bit. Ram: 4 GB

7,493 PointsHey Sunny the native android emulator is very slow and cumbersome. If you don't have a real device then you should emulate with something called genymotion. Here is a link to check it out !

Treehouse TeacherDo you have hardware acceleration (HAXM) enabled? Not all computers support HAXM, but most do and it makes a big difference in how fast your emulator runs. If HAXM doesn't work for you, then as Doug mentions, check out Genymotion.
