Error at Question 2: both Console and Chrome return the correct value and response, yet the page won't say its correct

The browser understands!

var answer = prompt('What is the best programming language?');

if (answer.toUpperCase = 'JAVASCRIPT') { alert('You are correct'); }

Hi William,

The reason it is failing is because the challenge is asking for the variable answer to equal 'JavaScript', sensitive to case. Calling .toUpperCase() is causing it to fail. Try making the conditional of your if statement this:

if (answer === 'JavaScript'){
  alert('You are correct');
}

This should pass the challenge.
