Error in the console: "Cannot implicitly convert type 'UnityEngine.UI.Text' to 'UnityEngine.Texture'

I am given the error in the console telling me that "Cannot implicitly convert type 'UnityEngine.UI.Text' to 'UnityEngine.Texture' "

And another error below it does not contain a definition for 'text' and no extension method 'text' of type.

Did Unity change the syntax since this tutorial?

Hi West,

Can you copy-paste the troublesome code? It appears you're trying to convert UI Text to a Texture; as the error indicates, you can't convert text to a texture type.

Hey thanks for the help, but I actually managed to figure it out. For some reason I typed " GetComponent Texture " instead of "GetComponent Text ".

Simplest errors drive the madness.
