Error message: You need to check if $studentTwoGPA is equal to 4.0

I am checking exactly that in second if statement.

index.php
<?php
$studentOneName = 'Dave';
$studentOneGPA = 3.8;

$studentTwoName = 'Treasure';
$studentTwoGPA = 4.0;

//Place your code below this comment
if ($studentOneGPA == 4.0) {
  echo " $studentOneName made the Honor Roll.";}
else {
  echo " $studentOneName has a GPA of $studentOneGPA.";}

if ($studentTwoGPA = 4.0) {
  echo " $studentTwoName made the Honor Roll.";}
else {
  echo " $studentTwoName has a GPA of $studentTwoGPA.";}

?>

Hi Dhruv Chadha

It all looks great, except for a small typo which is resulting in a Syntax Error. The error message is a big hint.

If you look at the conditional statement that is checking the GPA for the second student, you'll notice that you accidentally put a single = sign (which assigns) instead of the double == (which checks equality). Just fix that up and the rest is good.

Nice work! :) :dizzy:
