how do i go about this one

    while start:
        num = random.randint(1, 99)
        if num%2 == 0:
            print("{} is even".format(num))
        else:
            print("{} is odd".format(num))
            start -=1
            return not num % 2

Use the function to test if a number is even. Take your while loop out of the function and take start-= 1 out of the else statement like the following.

import random

start = 5

def even_odd(num):

return not num % 2

while (start):

number = random.randint(1,99)

if (even_odd(number)):

    print ("{} is even".format(number))

else:

    print( "{} is odd".format(number))

start -=1

Use the function to test if a number is even. Take your while loop out of the function and take start-= 1 out of the else statement like the following.

It is a little unclear from the instructions as to what to do ... It doesn't say to put the while loop inside nor outside the function. I'd guess we were left to figure that out for ourselves.
