Even.py: Wrong number of prints

I'm a little stuck. I feel like my logic is sound but it says "wrong number of prints". I must be missing something.

even.py 
import random

start = 5

def even_odd(num):
    # If % 2 is 0, the number is even.
    # Since 0 is falsey, we have to invert it with not.
    return not num % 2

while start > 0:
    num = random.randint(1,99)
    if even_odd(num) == True:
        print("{} is even.".format(num))
    else:
        print("{} is odd.".format(num))

    start -= start

You're decrementing too fast.

In fact, "start -= start" subtracts start from itself so it immediately becomes 0. What you probably intended to do was "start -= 1".

Also, to check the "truthiness" of something you just name it. So "while start > 0:" will work, but you only need to write "while start:".

Ah ok. I changed it to "start -= 1" but it still says "Bummer" with no direction as to what could be wrong.

Challenges are notoriously picky about output strings. The messages given in the instructions have no punctuation, so the periods you added prevent them from matching the expected output.
