every time I do this <li>portfolio</li> it says to me add the list element in the word portfolio

well iam not sure but maby iam right or maby the objectives are right

Hi, I've done the challenge & the following did work for me:

<li><a href="index.html">Portfolio</a></li>
<li><a href="about.html">About</a></li>
<li><a href="contact.html">Contact</a></li>

Maybe it's just the capitalization of "Portfolio" :)

You are also missing the closing ul and nav tags.
