Everytime I get to task 2 <html> I get the message that my answer is incorrect and it won't let me continue.

I asked about this yesterday and was told to open another window in Chrome in 'incognito mode' Ive done that, but I still keep error messages regardless if I using my laptop or app.

Post the code. It may not be a browser issue.

Hi Traci,

Is it a code challenge you're stuck on?
If so could you paste the question so we can help you get past it.

Yes, I complete the first task with the correct answer; <!DOCTYPE html>, The second question asks: "Create the HTML element that will serve as the document root."

I type in <html> and hit submit and nothing happens. Then I resubmit and i either get an code challenge error message or the alert that the answer is wrong and I cannot proceed.

So you have something like this:

<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>

</html>

Can you try to copy and paste the code and if you've already done that can you try typing it in.

Let us know how it goes please.
