PHP PHP Basics Daily Exercise Program String Manipulation

Extra Spacing

I keep getting an error saying my string has extra spacing. I can't figure out where the extra spacing is.

index.php
<?php

//Place your code below this comment
$firstName = 'Rasmus';
$lastName = 'Lerdorf';
$fullname = "$firstName $lastName";
echo "$fullname was the original creator of PHP\n";
?>

Hi Calli,

That code passes the challenge for me. Maybe try again?

I started the whole thing over and resubmitted exactly as I did before. It went through this time. Thank you!
