First name variable

I'm sure my code is correct as its a very simple task. Is this a bug?

There is no bug, it parses fine when I test it. However, if your goal is to display the name in the <body> section of your HTML, then you'll need to add an extra line of JavaScript code. For example, the following change to your JavaScript code would achieve this.

var firstName = "Ben";
document.write(firstName);

I saved out both files (index.html and script.js) with your code, and adding only the one additional line (above), and it worked like a charm. I hope this helps.
