asking a question on here and hoping that the images show up as screen shot, copy/paste etc are not working to show what I'm struggling with here that is surely blatantly obvious to someone else. Apologies if this ? is not showing up as needed, thanks in advance for any and all help.

Looking at the question, the task is to add a CSS class to the paragraph ( <p> ) item within the code. You've made a great start but neglected to include the quotation marks in your code.
Try this,
<!doctype html>
<html>
<head>
<link href="styles.css" rel="stylesheet">
</head>
<body>
<p class="main-pg">My amazing website</p>
</body>
</html>
