Python Flask Basics Welcome to Flask Request args

Flask Requests args

I need the answer to this. Tried different ways, but instructions not clear. Give me the answer, not help. Thx.

flask_app.py
from flask import Flask
from flask import request

app = Flask(__name__)

@app.route('/')
def index():
    return 'Treehouse'
    return 'Hello {name}'.format(name='')

I found the answer (by googling). Seriously, the way questions are asked needs to be reviewed. Never had this much trouble on codeacademy. And questions don't just need to be related to previous tracks, but Based on previous tracks. You're not teaching anyone anything by asking unclear questions (though maybe I should get into the habit of simply copying the exact code previously went over and answering the question with that code, even if the question 'seems' to want something different, as many do.

The challenge asks "Import request from Flask. Then update the index view to return "Hello {name}", replacing {name} with a name argument in the query string."

from flask import Flask
from flask import request #<-- import 'request'

app = Flask(__name__)

@app.route('/')
def index(name='Treehouse'): #<-- provide default value for 'name'
    name = request.args.get('name', name) #<-- get argument 'name' or use default name set above
    return 'Hello {name}'.format(name=name) #<-- update return string to accept variable 'name'
