float logo to the left nav bar moves up slightly

i noticed that when you float the logo to the left the nav bar moves up slightly. Is there anyway to keep it down. they seem to affect each other. eg if i increase the width of the nav the logo will move up.

Hi Melissa,

Hope I'm understanding what you need correctly.

If you mean to keep the navigation below the floated logo you could use a clear, e.g.

.navigation {
    clear: both;
}

The .navigation class is just used as an example but you can apply the clear to whatever class you need for your navigation.

The All About Floats article on CSS Tricks is a useful article, particularly the Clearing the Float section in this case.

Hope that helps.
