Am I supposed to do the work along with workspace as the video is playing, or watch the video and then try to remember how to do it afterwards?

Best bet is to work along with the video but don't be afraid to watch a bit and then go back. When I was starting with rails, I would watch the section then go back and work along. That way I could focus on listening and absorbing the first time around then focus on doing the second.

Regardless your approach, you should do the work yourself at some point. It's amazing for creating the required "muscle memory".

Thanks! I can see myself watching a few times before trying. Thanks again

My suggestion : First watch and listen to video carefully and try to understand it. Then try it in the workspace. And if you think you have forgot it, then see the video again.
