JavaScript JavaScript Basics (Retired) Creating Reusable Code with Functions Giving Information to Functions

for kicks and giggles...

I spent hours trying to figure out how to generate a random number to set the parameter for another function that would make it's random number. Probably simplistic for most, but I'm pleased :D It works!

function getRandomNumber(upper) {
  var randomNumber = Math.floor(Math.random() * upper) + 1;
  return randomNumber;
}

function getRandomParameter(rp) {
  var randomNumber = Math.floor(Math.random() * rp) + 1;
  return randomNumber;
}
var RP = getRandomParameter(100);
var RN = getRandomNumber(RP);

document.getElementById("print").innerHTML = RN;

wait, where did it go? arggg
