Formatting Dates with NSDateFormatter - null values

When I run the program I get null dates in some cases. For example it will say:

Learning, Every Day // Title Nick Pettit - (null) //Author - date

Is that normal? Or would you have to do some error handling?

It is not normal because you are not getting what you want. It is not so much an "error", but rather a bug. You may consider fixing your code because there is something wrong with the result.
