Function main()

Hi there,

I had a quick question about function declarations and implementations. Instead of declaring the function at the top and implementing it below main(), would it be possible to simply implement it (and any other function you might want to construct) above main()? It's a bit confusing coming from Python, so I'm looking to better understand this!

Thanks,

Matt

Yes, you can implement the function above main.

The reason some developers declare function headers above main is for readability/self-documenting. It's simply a matter of style.

Ah okay, thanks Jason!

I was actually confused by this when I started as well and asked the same question. You can check out the best answer in my post for an explanation.
