534 PointsGame development?
Basically, I want to begin learning game development to see what it's like and I wondered where I should start on here. Should I do the unity basics course, then how to make a video game or vice versa?
Thanks!

231,269 PointsYou probably want to start with How to Make a Video Game. It has no prerequisites and introduces the language along with the game concepts. And the Unity Basics course notes recommend that you take this one first.
I haven't done it yet myself, but I'd expect this course would include some recommendations for which of the other courses in the game series to do next.

Treehouse TeacherHey everyone,
As of an hour ago, there is now a Track called Game Development in Unity! Here's the link:
https://teamtreehouse.com/tracks/game-development-with-unity
Sorry we didn't do this sooner - we just didn't feel that there was enough Courses to merit a complete Track. But with the release of Object-Oriented Programming in Unity today, we feel there's more a complete picture there now.
Have fun!
