Genymotion Transparency issues?

Hello all, first question on the forums but I have exhausted my sources. When I run my apps on Genymotion from Android Studio that have transparent backgrounds they still appear with default white backgrounds on the Genymotion emulator. Has anyone else had this problem that can offer some insight? Thank you.
