3,541 PointsGenymotion unable to start after reinstall and Windows 10 upgrade
I was using Genymotion perfectly fine on my computer with Windows 8.1. To gain some of the features and capabilities of Windows 10 I upgraded my computer to the new version a couple of weeks ago. After the upgrade Genymotion's emulators would have trouble launching. I tried numerous work arounds that would work for a launch or two only to stop working (temporarily disable antivirus, run as admin, run in compatibility mode for Windows 8.1). After getting tired of that I decided to reinstall Genymotion but now it won't even start.
Now whenever I try to start Genymotion when it gets to Loading Plugins and I get a pop-up titled Error Renaming Connection. The pop-up states "Cannot rename this connection. A connection with the name you specified already exists. Specify a different name." This appears to be an issue with Oracle VirtualBox.
I can post logs if need be but don't know which would be helpful and don't want to flood this post with information that isn't needed.
My computer can't really handle the default emulator and my programming is only really possible with Genymotion so really need this fixed. If anyone has any idea what is going on your help would be greatly appreciated.
