Getter Method

I'm at a loss......Please Help

LandingActivity.java
import android.os.Bundle;
import android.view.View;
import android.widget.Button;
import android.widget.EditText;

public class LandingActivity extends Activity {

    public Button mThrustButton;
    public TextView mTypeLabel;
    public EditText mPassengersField;

    public Spaceship mSpaceship;

    @Override
    public void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) {
        super.onCreate(savedInstanceState);
        setContentView(R.layout.activity_landing);

        mThrustButton = (Button)findViewById(R.id.thrustButton);
        mTypeLabel.setText(mSpaceship.getType());
        mPassengersField = (EditText)findViewById(R.id.passengersEditText);
        mSpaceship = new Spaceship("FIREFLY");

        // Add your code here!
    }
}
Spaceship.java
public class Spaceship {
    private String mType;
    private int mNumPassengers = 0;

    public String getType() {
      return mType;
    }

    public void setType(String type) {
      mType = type;
    }

    public int getNumPassengers() {
      return mNumPassengers;
    }

    public void setNumPassengers(int numPassengers) {
      mNumPassengers = numPassengers;
    }

    public Spaceship() {
      mType = "SHUTTLE";
    }

    public Spaceship(String type) {
      mType = type;
    }
}

@Ben, where really you are getting a problem? Anywhere if its getter method eg getType() with a return type String enables well encapsulated application. This will enable other class to access this method rather than to change the actual member variable eg mType in the getType() method in Spaceship.java.

When I add a getter, it says that task one is no longer passing......I change it back and task one passes, put code in for getter and task one doesn't pass but there is no errors for task 2.......I'm at a loss.

I figured it out, I needed to add a new mTypeLabel under existing code and add my getter.......I just keep running into formatting errors as far as where to put the syntax.
