Getting a job making apps.

So I've been sifting through some of the job boards and I thought of something. How likely am I to get a job with just a few small apps published? I don't really want to go freelance. But it seems to me that most jobs are looking for people that have experience making large complex apps... Or they're looking for people who have numerous years of experience.

Go to events like Droidcon and other Android related meetups. Meet as many people as you can and make friends with people in the industry. What I have found is, if you show passion and enthusiasm, Devs will literally fall over themselves to help you out. They are a wonderful bunch.
